Watford Wedding Show Archive – 2013

2013 was the launch year of the Watford Wedding Show. We opened the doors of the Watford Colosseum and welcomed over 450 visitors, which included more than 260 Brides who registered with us at the main door. The show included 56 Exhibitors from a wide range of categories, 3 Bridal fashion shows, Live performances from singers, special show discounts for Brides attending, and a break out area to have coffees & other refreshments.

The show was advertised in many wedding publications including: The Wedding Planner, My Herts & Beds Wedding Magazine, Ultimate Wedding Magazine, Watford Observer & all 12 regional My News Magazine titles. In addition, our online and social media presence was also strong. The Wedding Show could be found on all of the major websites and directories, including Watford Weddings, Hitched, Confetti, Guides for Brides, UK Bride and more. Plus our Facebook, Twitter and further social media activity was helped enormously by our higher than average number of exhibitors.

From a Brides perspective: “I am so glad that my sister pushed me to come along with her today, she thought that the show would be better than the ones she had been to when she was planning her wedding last year. She kept getting so excited, it was quite funny! So I must thank Anna for this, we had a good time today, took us nearly two hours to get around the people we wanted to meet. And you know, I am sure I have found some people to come and help with my wedding next year, this is what I wanted. Thank you for helping us.” Maria Schwartz

From an Exhibitors perspective: “This was categorically the best wedding show we attended this year. We will be coming again next year in 2014. Great show, and so pleased to see that someone has gone and done it, well done guys” Amie Bone

Marketing support & Bride attendance are both strong for the Watford Wedding Show. And whether you are a Bride or an Exhibitor, we look forward to welcoming you in future years.
